YOUR RIDE SUPPORTS THESE PROJECTS
We are proud to be supporting both local projects in the Toowoomba region and international projects in PNG and Cambodia from the proceeds of this unique charity ride.
What better way to enjoy a ride, than knowing you are supporting people in need.
Every dollar raised goes to the projects specified. Rotary is run by volunteers who pay their own way, so no part of your donation goes to administration costs.
LOCAL PROJECTS
Darling Heights State School
Feeding around 70 primary school children, whose parents are unable to provide them with breakfast or lunch.
You can't learn when you are hungry.
Belong Hockey
Support for the Toowoomba Hockey club in providing a healthy sporting outlet for refugee teenagers. You are helping to enable travel to away games and support for the youth in their fund raising.
INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS
Cambodia
Building a waterproof home for a rural Cambodian family. Your donation buys local materials, but our volunteer team pay their own costs to travel to Siem Reap to help to construct the home.
Papua New Guinea
Building the first public toilet block for the people of Mt Hagen in the western highlands. We aim to reduce the incidence of water borne disease in drinking water, so that so many children don't get sick.
