IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR YOUR RIDE
RIDE THE RANGE 2025
As we approach the next instalment of Rotary Ride the Range, we will be contacting all registered riders via email with important event information including safety briefings, on the day information and registration pick-up details.
🗓 Date: Sunday, 31 August 2025
📍 Start Location: Heller Street Park, Picnic Point
⏰ Arrival Time: 5:15am
COFFEE will be available from 5am. Please ensure you have either cash or card.
SAFETY BRIEFING:
If you are riding on Sunday, please ensure you have watched our safety briefing HERE.
Ride Start Times:
Please arrive at 5:15am to allow time to find your ride group, grab a coffee if you wish and prepare for the start. The below times are approximate and can change slightly due to weather or direction from authorities. Any major changes will be communicated via email.
5:45am - 100 MILE departure
5:55am - THE 112KM CLASSIC departure
6:05am - THE 85KM departure
6:15am - THE NIFTY 50 & THE 79 departure
THE SHORTY 40KM - If you are departing from the main start line at Heller Street park, please ensure you are there ready to go at 6:15am. You will be transported down to the start line at Helidon. If you are meeting us at the start line at Helidon, please arrive by 7am.
Parking
Parking is at the base of Heller Street park at Picnic Point and is of course free. Entry is off Rowbotham Street. Please follow the direction of our parking marshalls at all times.

🎟 Registration & Jersey Collection

Pick up your cycling bibs and jerseys (if ordered before the cut-off) on Saturday 30 August at Heller Street Park, Picnic Point.

Registration collection on Saturday is available from 10:30am - 4pm

Event Morning: If you haven’t collected your bib on Saturday, visit the registration tent from 5am to collect yours.
🚴 On the Course – Support & Safety

Support Vehicles: Available on all routes to assist riders if needed

Volunteers & Signage: Positioned throughout the course to guide and support you

Rest Stops: World-class facilities with water, sustenance, toilets, and friendly volunteers

There will be a bag drop for anyone wishing to drop off jackets or any extra layers after the descent down the range. These items will be individually packaged and labelled and ready for collection from Heller St Park at the end of your ride. We will send further information about this in the coming week.
🏁 Finish Festival
After conquering your ride, celebrate at our Finish Festival with food, drinks, and great company!

As always, we pride ourselves on being a fully supported ride. SAG Wagons will be on the course and rest stops are positioned along each course as required. Please bring along a gold coin donation to help us support the brilliant schools that volunteer their services on the day with delicious home baked goods and fantastic rest stop service.
